Amid the challenge of COVID-19 pandemic, the IIS resorted to online mode of thesis defense among graduating students.
Last May 19, 2020, Mr. Munding-Milaham M. Abdurahman, whose panel members include Assoc. Prof. Macrina A. Morados (Adviser), Prof. Julkipli M. Wadi (Critic) and Mr. Kamaruddin Bin Alawi Mohammad (Member), successfully defended his Master thesis with the title “An Assessment of the Therapeutic Community Modality Program (TCMP) For Muslims Deprived of Liberty (PDL) in Manila City Jails.” On May 29, 2020, Atty. Cadilyn B. Bedol, whose panel members include Prof. Julkipli M. Wadi (Adviser), Atty. Mehol K. Sadain (Critic) and Assoc. Prof. Macrina A.
