UP Institute of Islamic Studies scholarships to MA applicants shall depend upon:
1. Accumulated grade weighted average (GWA) or grade point average (GPA) of the applicant’s bachelor’s or Master’s degree, i.e., not less than 2.0 (in a one-point scale, 1.00 being the highest); not less than 3.00 (in a four-point scale, 4.00 being the highest); or not less than B or BB (in Letter grading system, i.e. A+ or AA being the highest).
2. Academic or work experience; for instance, competent background in Islamic Studies, knowledge of Arabic and English languages, and competent social sciences and humanities background or training.

1. IIS Scholarship | 1. Considered after 1 semester of good scholastic standing – GWA of 1.75 or better. 2. Maintaining grade of 1.75/semester, with a maximum of 9 enrolled units; No grade of incomplete, 4.0, or 5.0. 3. Inability to finance studies. |
2. Presidential Leadership and other Scholarships | Subject to University selection process and scholarship particulars; Application forms are at the Office of Scholarships and Student Services (OSS), temporarily located at the 2nd Flr. of Virata Hall, ISSI Building. |
