THE CONSTITUTION AND BY-LAWS

of the graduate students of the Institute of Islamic Studies of the University of the Philippines – Diliman known as

PREAMBLE

We, the students of the UP Institute of Islamic Studies, invoking the aid of the Almighty Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful, the Absolute One, to Whom Worship and Praise are due, in order to establish a student organization which shall be known as UP-IIS Graduate Students Organization that shall unite the UP-IIS studentry, promote and protect students’ rights and welfare, foster closer relationship, embody the Islamic ideals, promote, enhance and develop brotherhood, harmony and understanding among studentry, do hereby ordain and promulgate this Constitution and By-Laws.
